Summer 2012 Update

YEAR END FISCAL INFORMATION

With gratitude for the blessings the Lord has provided we review the fiscal year end.

Our goal for the months of May & June was $120,000.  When individuals and congregations had given $80,000 three donors would add the $40,000 to finish the effort.  And so the Lord blessed,   We received $91,855 from individuals and congregations and so surpassed our $120,000 goal.  Praise and thanks be to God.  (So far in July we have received about $40,000 which keeps us about even into August.)

For the fiscal year, congregational gifts were at 80% of budget and individual gifts were at 118%.    BUT tuition income was short by $47,500 dollars.  This shortfall was made up by the extra dollars received from individuals.  Even at that we ended the fiscal year $23,243 ahead of budgeted income.  Expenses were very close to budget.

This next fiscal year our budget is based on 108 students, including two new international students.  Currently we have 101 students (24 freshmen) enrolled without any new international students.  Our monthly budget calls for $63,791 ($58,748 last year) from individuals and congregations.  This is a new opportunity for reviewing God’s blessings and sharing proportionately.

PRAYER  Heavenly Father, I thank you for leading so many people to provide the dollars that enabled GPLHS to end its fiscal year with money in the bank.  Continue to inspire many to share of the blessings you give.  Now I am bold to ask you to lead parents to recognize the eternal value of the education GPLHS offers.  Give parents the confidence that you will bless their child while at GPLHS.  Lead more students to enroll from near and far.  Bless the faculty as they prepare for serving GPLHS in its 17th year.  Amen.
