Spanish Immersion Trip

June 10-18, 2017 six students from the Spanish 3/4 classes took an immersion trip to Guatemala. During their week in the this Central American country the students had 4 hours a day of one on one Spanish class at PLFM school in Antigua http://spanishschoolplfm.com/ Afternoons were filled with cultural trips to ancient ruins, a local village for a weaving demonstration, a hands on experience making hot chocolate from scratch with raw cacao beans, a tour of the city of Antigua, and a visit to a coffee plantation. The week culminated with a day trip to Atitlan, a beautiful lake encircled by mountains, and its surrounding towns.
